A special economic zone of industrial production type has been created in the Voronezh region
On January 6, the Chairman of the government of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, signed a decree “On the establishment of a special economic zone of an industrial-production type in the territory of the municipal unit of the Novousmansky municipal district of the Voronezh region”. The document was submitted by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
The creation of the SEZ "Center" will contribute to the development of the economy of the Voronezh region, the creation of favorable conditions for the implementation of investment industrial projects by Russian and foreign companies, and the creation of new jobs.
It should be noted that employees of the Office for Investment Promotion and Strategic Projects Support of the Voronezh region actively participated in the work on the preparation of an application for the creation of a special economic zone.
The development of metallurgical production (including for the needs of aircraft industry), chemical industry, building materials industry, production of equipment for the food industry, heavy mechanical engineering, power engineering, electrochemical and cable industry, oil and gas engineering, machine-tool industry, shipbuilding equipment (in the part of ship component equipment), radio-electronic industry, medical industry, civil aviation, engine building is planned.
It is assumed that by 2028 the volume of investments by potential residents of the SEZ "Center" will be more than 9 billion rubles. More than 1.4 thousand jobs will be created. The volume of revenue of potential residents from the sale of goods, works, services will exceed 75 billion rubles, and the total amount of tax and customs payments to the budgets of all levels from the SEZ "Center" - more than 12 billion rubles.
