Danil Kustov took part at a Working Meeting with the Japanese Delegation of the Ministry of ConstructionFebruary, 1, 2017. The Deputy Governor – the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Voronezh region Andrey Revkov held a working meeting with the representatives of the Construction, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Ministry of Japan headed by the Deputy Minister Hirofumi Hanaoka.
The First Deputy Mayor on Urban Affairs of Voronezh City District Vadim Kstenin, the Director of the “Office for Investment Promotion and Strategic Projects Support” Danil Kustov, Acting Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Voronezh Sergey Laptev, the Chief of Voronezh Mayor Administration Igor Lotkov took part at the meeting from the Russian side.
In his report Vadim Kstenin noticed that the main objective of the second session of the Russian-Japanese working group on the urban area standards implementation problems is an elaboration and an implementation of comfortable, clean and livable city model and also the elaboration of smart city construction mechanism.
Within the delegation visit 4 department working groups for these problems study were created. They are “Reduce of traffic jams”, “Pipelines modernization”, “Smart and healthy housing” and “Town-planning unit”.
After the department groups visit to infrastructure objects the decisions elaboration is assumed. These decisions will be pronounced on the main session of the Russian-Japanese working group headed by Hirofumi Hanaoka and the Deputy Minister of Housing and Construction of the Russian Federation Andrey Chibis.
According to Andrey Kstenin Voronezh side lays the highest expectations to the Japanese counterpart visit in the sphere of town planning and transport development, particularly in possible joint elaboration of Voronezh agglomeration complex transport network and also the implementation of the joint pilot project “Comfortable urban area”, that has gained federal support.
